A small, very glutinous, strongly translucently striate Telamonia with a pale argillaceous‑ to honey‑brown hygrophanous cap, often darker at centre, and a white to brass‑yellow glutinous stipe. Lamellae pallid becoming argillaceous with ferruginous tint.

Pileus: Up to 55 mm diameter. Hemispheric with incurved margin when young, then convex, finally obtusely campanulate or umbonate‑expanded; occasionally centrally depressed in old specimens. Colour initially pallid / very pale argillaceous, later pale ochre, caramel, pale honey‑brown, or pale date‑brown; centre usually darker. Strongly hygrophanous, becoming bleached with age, exposure, or desiccation. Very glutinous - young buttons may be embedded in up to 4 mm of gluten. Strongly translucently striate.
Lamellae: Rather crowded (15-40, with 7 lamellulae series). Emarginate, decurrent with a short tooth, ventricose, up to 6 mm wide. Initially pallid, then pale argillaceous / pale ochraceous, finally argillaceous with ferruginous tinge. Edges subfimbriate, concolorous.
Stipe: 70 x 12 mm, cylindrical above, fusoid or subclavate toward base. White or pallid, apex gradually yellow‑brown to brass‑yellow, base remaining whitish. Strongly glutinous. Cortina rudimentary or absent. Solid, soon hollow; solitary or cespitose.
Context: Pale brown or honey‑brown beneath pileipellis. White in stipe, turning brown on exposure.
Odour/taste: Odour indistinct; taste mild.
