Pileus: 20-30 mm (to 40 mm), viscid when moist, not hygrophanous. Colour pale yellowish‑white to pale ochraceous, typically with a slightly darker yellow‑ochre disc. Surface glabrous to finely innate‑fibrillose, sometimes appearing smooth when wet. Margin even, sometimes faintly striate when moist; thinly felty in very young specimens.
Lamellae: White to grey‑white, very crowded, narrow, adnexed to narrowly emarginate; edge concolorous, not serrulate.
Stipe: 30-70 x 3-6 mm, slender, cylindrical, often slightly clavate, with a narrow basal bulb. Colour white, sometimes faintly cream; surface finely fibrillose. Base not deeply rooting, but may penetrate slightly into the litter.
Veil: White, sparse; cortina white, extremely fugacious and rarely visible in mature specimens.
Context: White throughout; thin in the cap, slightly firmer in the stipe.
