A rare, pale tan Percomes‑lineage Phlegmacium with a viscid, evenly tan cap, grey‑violet young lamellae, and a white stipe with yellowish bulb and violet‑tinged apex.

This is supposed to be a very rare species with only one known collection. Oddly, I have found it twice now, both times from the type location showing rare and rarely collected are two diffrent things.

Pileus: 55-70 mm, obtusely rounded to expanded to almost plane. Viscid, not hygrophanous. Even pale tan, finely innate‑fibrillose. A subdued, crust‑coloured cap.
Lamellae: Greyish‑violet when young, becoming paler with age. Adnate, crowded.
Stipe: 50-90 x 11-14 mm, cylindrical with a small bulb. White, bulb with yellowish coating. Apex violet‑tinged. Dry; veil butter‑yellow, sparse; cortina not observed.
Context: White, marbled violet in upper stipe and pileus. Exsiccata pale.
