A distinctive green‑capped species of mixed Nothofagus forest, recognised by its dark green viscid pileus, mauve‑purple lamellae, white to faintly purple stipe, and globose to subglobose spores.

Pileus: 30-80 mm, convex to nearly plane. Viscid, dark green, sometimes with yellow‑brown patches or pale mottling. Margin entire, paler green, incurved. Context white, sometimes with a light green hue.
Lamellae: Close, adnate. Mauve to purple, becoming browner with age.
Stipe: 35-90 x 10-15 mm, cylindrical to subclavate, often bulbous. White, sometimes with a faint purple hue. Surface longitudinally fibrillose. Cortina yellow‑brown, sometimes with a green tint. Universal veil occasionally weakly peronate.
Context: White to cream‑yellow toward the base, sometimes with light green‑blue hues.
