Pileus: up to 35 mm diam., convex to indistinctly campanulate, lacking a conspicuous umbo or papilla; old basidiomes plane. Colour cinnamon-brown to brick-red, with radial buff to rosy-buff streaks. Surface dry, glabrous to slightly fibrillose or hairy; striate and hygrophanous.
Lamellae: free to adnexed, ventricose (to ~5 mm wide), distant; cinnamon when young, becoming brick‑red with age. Edges concolorous.
Stipe: 50-90 x 3-4 mm, cylindrical or attenuated upward, rosy‑red with brick‑red tones, base white. Fibrillose, dry, hollow, fragile, solitary.
Context: pale brownish to brick‑red.
