Entoloma peraffine – lilac-tinged, persistently conical species with quadrate spores and short-celled pigmented pileipellis; in coastal Nothofagus menziesii forest.

Pileus: 25-35(-40) mm, at first obtusely to distinctly conical, remaining conical in age. Strongly translucent-striate toward the margin; sterile margin initially incurved, later expanded. Colour fuliginous with a distinct lilac‑bluish tinge, the lilac fading on drying. Disc minutely squamulose or scurfy; elsewhere innately fibrillose. Dry, thin, hygrophanous.
Lamellae: 32-40 reaching stipe, with 3-7 lamellulae, almost free to adnexed, ventricose, up to 6 mm wide. Initially pale fuliginous with a strong lilac or amethyst‑blue tinge, becoming pale porphyry. Edges entire or notched, concolorous.
Stipe: 40-60 x 3-4 mm, cylindrical, equal, tapering slightly toward base. Pale lilac, paler than lamellae; becoming silvery fibrillose in age; base whitish. Strongly fibrillose, often splitting; dry, fragile, hollow; solitary.
Context: concolorous.
Odour/taste: Odour unpleasant. Taste musty, unpleasant.
