A very small, fragile brown species with a striate hygrophanous cap and 5-angled spores. The lack of cystidia and the brown-encrusted cutis help distinguish it from other diminutive brown Entoloma.

Pileus: 6-12 mm diam., convex at first, later umbonate or campanulate, eventually plane and sometimes subdepressed at centre. Colour brown to beige, fading on drying. Surface glabrous or slightly fibrillose, striate, hygrophanous, dry.
Lamellae: (L 6-10, l 3) adnexed, ventricose, whitish to beige, becoming pink with age. Edges entire, concolorous.
Stipe: 40-60 x1-3 mm, cylindrical, concolorous with pileus, glabrous, dry, fistulose, fragile.
Context: Not recorded.
Odour/taste: not distinctive.
