Slender brownish clubs to 30 mm tall, sometimes with pale or yellowish tips; dichotomously branched in a few ranks; spores tiny, globose, and nearly smooth. Known from New Guinea and New Zealand, but NZ material may not match the type.

Fruitbody: Slender, delicate clubs to 30 mm tall, arising from small whitish mycelial patches. Colour ranges from cinnamon‑brown to tawny, sometimes brown throughout, but in some collections the apices are paler to ivory‑white to dull yellow.
Branches: is sparse to moderately developed, typically 2-4 ranks, with all axes <1 mm thick. Branching is dichotomous, with rounded axils and gradually shortening internodes.
Apices: are awl‑shaped.
