A small, tan, finely branched coral fungus with awl‑shaped apices and globose spores, occurring on woody debris.

Fruitbody: up to 3.0 × 1.2 cm, branched, arbuscular, arising from small white mycelial patches.
Stipe: to 12 × 3 mm, discrete; white to whitish at the base (sometimes “pale pinkish cinnamon”), villous below, becoming tan upward.
Branches: dichotomous, terete, arising rather abruptly; tan to pallid tan when young (“light ochraceous buff”), becoming fleshy tan with age. Axils rounded; internodes short and gradually diminishing.
Apices: awl‑shaped, slender, slightly paler than the branches (“light ochraceous buff”).
Odour / taste: negligible.
