A small lilac‑to‑wine‑red (pink) Gliophorus with a glutinous campanulate cap, non‑decurrent reddish‑brown to lilac lamellae, and a glutinous fistulose stipe that becomes ochraceous‑yellow near the base.

Note: Some Gliophorus species possess UV‑labile pigments, and their colours may shift or fade as basidiomes age, particularly after exposure to sunlight. This photochemical change is independent of hygrophany and may cause green, lilac, red, or fuliginous tones to bleach toward grey or yellow.

Pileus: 10–20 mm diam.; hemispherical when young, becoming convex to campanulate; never flat or concave. Colour lilac to wine‑red or reddish‑brown, paler toward the striated margin, fading to grey in age. Surface glutinous, glabrous.
Lamellae: Adnexed or emarginate‑adnexed, not decurrent. Colour reddish‑brown, pink, or lilac when young, fading to whitish. Moderately distant. Edges concolorous, even.
Stipe: 15–60 × 1.5–3 mm, cylindric, equal or attenuated toward the apex. Upper stipe concolorous with pileus, lower stipe ochraceous‑yellow. Glutinous, fistulose, solitary.
Context: Red‑brown beneath the pileus cuticle; pink in the stipe.
Odour/tast: Not distinctive.
